SDA Church is using state legislation to persecute & imprison Sabbath keepers!

This is an extremely dark and sad time as the SDA organization follows the pattern and principles of Rome to persecute those who do not follow her strict edits and ecclesiastical bulls concerning the use of the terms "Seventh" "Day" and "Adventist" in a churches name. These are not trademarks but concepts that represents the truths accepted by a church who uses these terms. The SDA Organization is trying to trademark and thus market and control by legislative power salvational issues. This is a clear statement by the SDA leadership that they like Rome will persecute any who will not be controlled by their concept of Adventism. This is nothing short of trying to copyright and control salvation. Today, I am ashamed to be numbered among those called SDA fearing that the world may believe that I agree with this stand. We as a people must voice our opposition to this horrific event. Those who remain silent in this out of fear of reprisals or indifference are sharing in her sins. I encourage all true SDA's to write your conference leaders and voice your concerns over this apostate action by our leaders.

Ellen G. White under the inspiration of God wrote the following. " In the commission to His disciples, Christ not only outlined their work, but gave them their message. Teach the people, He said, "to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you." The disciples were to teach what Christ had taught. That which He had spoken, not only in person, but through all the prophets and teachers of the Old Testament, is here included. Human teaching is shut out. There is no place for tradition, for man's theories and conclusions, or for church legislation. No laws ordained by ecclesiastical authority are included in the commission. None of these are Christ's servants to teach. "The law and the prophets," with the record of His own words and deeds, are the treasure committed to the disciples to be given to the world. Christ's name is their watchword, their badge of distinction, their bond of union, the authority for their course of action, and the source of their success. Nothing that does not bear His superscription is to be recognized in His kingdom. {DA 826.1}

But the SDA leadership in its persecution through ecclesiastical legislative actions against someone for their faith, frankly disagrees with the prophet and by their actions is ignoring her testimony (the testimony of Jesus through the Spirit of prophecy) in order to further its own political power and gain. May God have mercy on their souls. To cause someone to be physically persecuted for their religious beliefs and convictions in carrying out the gospel of Jesus Christ is the power of antichrist. This is the very power that the founding fathers of this country sought to prevent as seen in it's very constitution. Yet the SDA church is now at the forefront in tearing this country's religious liberty down. Perhaps its time to rename our churches paper "Religious Liberty" to "Sanctified Religious Persecution". Or perhaps we should go all the way and finish our reach across the gulf and just name ourselves "Seventh Day Catholics" so our principles and actions match!

This certainly brings this vision by EGW into clear light. "That night I dreamed that I was in Battle Creek looking out from the side glass at the door and saw a company marching up to the house, two and two. They looked stern and determined. I knew them well and turned to open the parlor door to receive them, but thought I would look again. The scene was changed. The company now presented the appearance of a Catholic procession. One bore in his hand a cross, another a reed. And as they approached, the one carrying a reed made a circle around the house, saying three times: "This house is proscribed. The goods must be confiscated. They have spoken against our holy order." Terror seized me, and I ran through the house, out of the north door, and found myself in the midst of a company, some of whom I knew, but I dared not speak a word to them for fear of being betrayed. I tried to seek a retired spot where I might weep and pray without meeting eager, inquisitive eyes wherever I turned. I repeated frequently: "If I could only understand this! If they will tell me what I have said or what I have done!" I wept and prayed much as I saw our goods confiscated. I tried to read sympathy or pity for me in the looks of those around me, and marked the countenances of several whom I thought would speak to me and comfort me if they did not fear that they would be observed by others. I made one attempt to escape from the crowd, but seeing that I was watched, I concealed my intentions. I commenced weeping aloud, and saying: "If they would only tell me what I have done or what I have said!" 1T 577

"Oh that my head were waters, and mine eyes a fountain of tears, that I might weep day and night for the slain of the daughter of my people! Oh that I had in the wilderness a lodging place of wayfaring men; that I might leave my people, and go from them! for they be all adulterers, an assembly of treacherous men." (Jer 9:1-2) Please listen oh treacherous and adulterating leadership and acknowledge your sins and stop this madness while there is yet time for you. I pray that even now that it not be to late for you.  Do you not know that even now you are being weighed in the balances and are found wanting.  God has one last call of mercy for you. Stop persecuting his children in your haughtiness and pride and return to him.

"Hear ye, and give ear; be not proud: for the LORD hath spoken. Give glory to the LORD your God, before he cause darkness, and before your feet stumble upon the dark mountains, and, while ye look for light, he turn it into the shadow of death, and make it gross darkness. But if ye will not hear it, my soul shall weep in secret places for your pride; and mine eye shall weep sore, and run down with tears, because the LORD'S flock is carried away captive." (Jer 13:15-17)
